This page is where I ramble on about various interests that have. I have many hobbies. Some of my hobbies pay the rent, which is nice. Other hobbies I merely dabble in. These are not presented in any particular order.

Computers

I have taken many computer classes. I like to solve my own computer problems. I built my computer from parts, and I created this website.I'm currently running a dual-boot XP and Suse Linux 10.0 system. Incidentally, I also got hired to do another website for a friend. Piano playing:

I practice this every day. I'm pretty good at it. I have an associate degree in music from Cabrillo College in Aptos. I mostly play solo piano. My favorite is Bach, but I also play Chopin, Beethoven, Grieg, Mozart, Scott Joplin, Zez Confrey, Stevie Wonder , Elton John, Anita Baker, etc...
I rarely perform piano, mostly because I don't like the idea of carting around a piano. Plus , there are plenty of other great piano players out there. Sometimes I will play a tune or two if a piano is present on stage, depending on the situation. One time I had a regular gig in a restaraunt, where I did a combination of magic tricks , and piano playing.

Cooking:

I like to improvise with whatever ingredients are on hand. I cook just about every day. I like almost everything, and I tend to make Mexican, Chinese, and Italian food. Some of my favorite dishes include: chili-cheese tamales, enchiladas with red chile sauce, pizza, casseroles, spicy beans, tabouli, chinese chicken salad, grilled tempeh sandwiches, home-fried potato medley, pea soup, cornbread, eggplant with hot garlic sauce, mango salsa, pasta with garlic/olive oil/parsley/red-pepperflakes, etc..., hey I'm getting hungry!
